Startup Legal Guru is an independent resource that reviews, compares, and ranks legal firms and software so early-stage teams can make informed buying decisions.

Why we exist

Founders face a fragmented, opaque legal market early — exactly when they have the least time and expertise to evaluate it. We do the homework founders don’t have time for: methodology-driven comparisons, transparent scoring, and plain-English explanations of what different legal services actually do.

What we are

An independent, founder-first reviewer. We compress a confusing evaluation into trustworthy, comparable, decision-ready content — so you can pick the best tool or service for your business with confidence.

What we are not

  • Not a law firm. We have no attorney–client relationships and offer no representation.
  • Not a source of legal advice. We never tell a reader what to do about their specific legal situation.
  • Not a lead-gen front in editorial clothing. Reviews stand on methodology, not on who pays.
